Job summary

Pharmavite seeks an Inspector Operator in Opelika, AL for full-time work. The role involves preparing inspection areas, operating automated machines, and visually inspecting capsules to remove defects. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills to operate automated inspection machines.
• Manual dexterity/hand-eye coordination to identify and remove defective capsules.
• English communication skills to maintain routine logs and records.
• Full color vision to identify color defects in capsules.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare inspection area for use.
• Clean bins and trays for inspection and transfer of product.
• Visually inspect capsules and remove defective product with equipment or manual inspection.
• Operate automated equipment that sorts, polishes and inspects capsules to meet specifications.
• Maintain routine batch documentation and label product containers.
• Move product into/out of drying tunnels; lift up to 30 lb, push/pull up to 400 lb.
• Follow safety procedures and SOPs.
