Job summary

Pharmavite is seeking an entry-level inspector to prepare and stage products and operate automated inspection machines for quality control. You will visually inspect gelatin capsules and remove defective units, while handling equipment that sorts, polishes and inspects capsules to meet specifications.

The role requires basic computer skills, good color vision, and English communication to maintain logs. You will work in a facility that handles up to 12-hour shifts, with overtime opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• No prior experience is required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to read batch records and safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and prepares inspection area for use.
• Cleans bins and trays for inspection and transfer of product.
• Visually inspects capsules and removes defective product using automated equipment or visual inspection.
• Operates automated equipment that sorts, polishes and inspects capsules to ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintains routine documentation on each batch of capsules; prepares log entries, and labels product containers.
• Lifts/carries containers, parts or capsules weighing up to 30 pounds regularly and pushes/pulls up to 400 pounds.
• Locates/moves product into or out of drying tunnels.
• Checks and maintains hardness checks on soft gel capsules.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
