Brigham Young University’s Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering invites applications for an Adjunct Teaching position for CBE 461: Capstone Coach II Projects. The role starts January 6, 2027 and requires a BS in engineering or related field with MS preferred.

The candidate should have proven chemical engineering experience and a passion for guiding senior student teams through industry-sponsored projects.

Formación

• BS degree in engineering or related field required.
• MS degree preferred and must be completed by start date.
• Demonstrated chemical engineering experience and passion for guiding senior student groups.

Responsabilidades

• Spend 4-6 hours per week coaching a 5-7 member student design team (8-10 AM, M-F).
• Help student groups self-organize, problem-solve and deliver project deliverables.
• Maintain alignment with Capstone policies and foster sponsor liaison relationships.
