Job summary

Ferris State University College of Business invites applications for a CAPS Customer Service Representative (Student Position) in Big Rapids, MI. You will support the front Career and Professional Success office by handling calls, emails, and in-person inquiries at the CAPS front desk.

• Participate in regular staff meetings.
• Advertise CAPS events.
• Assist CAPS Assistant with day-to-day tasks—handling mail, making purchases.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for innovative changes to ensure CAPS operates at a high level of customer service.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate programming including room and catering reservations, advertising, event setup, staffing events, and related tasks.

Summary of Position: This position supports the front Career and Professional Success office. You will be answering phone, emails and checking-in people as they come in. This position also focuses on one project that includes supporting Career Technology.

• Must have a 2.5 GPA
• As an individual who is responsible for driving on behalf of the university, a driving record check will be run pursuant to university policies. The individual will be required to sign an authorization to run a criminal history background and driving record check. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: - Greet and assist all customers via phone, virtual, email, or in-person at CAPS front desk.
