Job summary

Maryland Court Reporters is seeking a Security Liaison Specialist to serve as a critical liaison between the Sergeant at Arms Administration (SAA), the USCP, congressional offices, and other stakeholders to administer security programs. The incumbent will process facility access and law enforcement requests while representing the SAA to the USCP Command Center and protective intelligence operations center.

Qualifications

• Experience in law enforcement, security, security management, emergency response, or intelligence analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including time-sensitive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between SAA, USCP, law enforcement agencies, and security vendors for travel, duress, and related programs.
• Process requests for Members of Congress, loading dock, barricade, and access requests.
• Coordinate security for Congressionally hosted events and understand threat mitigation.
• Represent SAA in interagency command centers to share security information promptly.
• Coordinate law enforcement coverage for congressional events and monitor for disruptions or threats.
• Assist in preparing briefings and updates for senior SAA staff and leadership.
