Job summary

GAP Solutions is seeking an experienced Security SME to support the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) Office of the Chief Security Officer (OCSO) as a USCP Command Center Liaison. The role requires monitoring security events, coordinating with federal partners, and generating incident reports on a 24/7 basis at the USCP Command Center in Washington, DC.

The position is full-time with day shifts, onsite at the Capitol Complex.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree w/ 8 years of relevant experience; or PhD w/ 4+ years; or Master’s w/ 6+ years; or Associate’s w/ 10+ years; or No degree w/ 12+ years.
• Active, fully adjudicated Top Secret clearance is REQUIRED for all personnel.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in law enforcement, security, and/or emergency management work with demonstrated knowledge of command center and/or emergency operations center (EOC) best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to write and edit clear, concise, and grammatically correct documents (e.g., reports, policy, and procedures).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate security events and incidents across Capitol Complex and NCR, providing situational awareness.
• Liaise with US Capitol Police, Sergeant at Arms, Library of Congress, and other partners for incident response.
• Prepare daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports and incident updates as required.
• Assist in development and updating SOPs, binders, and reference materials for AOC operations.
