Job summary

Guggenheim Securities seeks a high-caliber Associate for its Capital Structure Advisory Group in New York. You will lead day-to-day project management on complex liability management and restructuring assignments, performing rigorous financial analyses and due diligence, and presenting findings to clients.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in investment banking or related fields, bachelor’s degree, and strong modeling/valuation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years in investment banking, accounting, consulting, private equity, hedge fund or corporate finance
• Core modeling and valuation experience
• SIE, Series 79 and Series 63 must be acquired within 150 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project management and execution on advisory and financing transactions; develop and oversee detailed financial analyses
• Perform due diligence, manage diligence requests, tours, and discussions with management
• Analyze market trends, liquidity, capital structure and credit documents to identify client solutions
• Prepare and participate in client presentations and projections
• Develop presentations integrating strategic ideas from analyses and forecasts
• Contribute to deal pitches and identify restructuring and financing opportunities
• Build and develop client relationships through ongoing engagement
• Manage and develop junior staff
