Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Safety Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for health and safety across the Capital Projects portfolio. Based in Elko, NV, you will lead a team of safety professionals supporting multiple project sites and ensure MSHA compliance and alignment with company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in OH&S, Engineering, or related field; CSP/CMSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership and drive zero-harm culture across project sites.
• Develop and maintain project safety management systems per MSHA standards.
• Lead safety team including safety superintendents and site personnel.
• Oversee contractor safety management and performance monitoring.
• Drive incident management: reporting, investigations, corrective actions.
• Develop and monitor safety KPIs and report to leadership.
