Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Consulting Manager for Construction and Real Estate Advisory to deliver audits, contract cost reviews, and management assessments across the United States. You will lead fieldwork, develop reports, and provide clients with best-practice solutions for capital projects and real estate operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, strong client relationships, and the ability to travel up to 25% to support client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, Construction Management, Accounting, or related field.
• CPA, CIA, CCA, CFE, PMP, or PE is preferred.
• Knowledge in construction phases including planning, pre-construction, sourcing, procurement, contract administration, scheduling, cost estimating, project reporting, closeout, and real estate portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct construction and real estate process reviews, controls and compliance assessments to identify improvements.
• Assess contracts, lease agreements, and capital project performance for adherence to terms and regulations.
• Provide actionable recommendations to enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency.
• Lead fieldwork: data collection, site visits, interviews, and reporting with clear client-facing documents.
• Collaborate with project managers, asset managers, legal counsel and clients to support oversight and risk mitigation.
• Support lifecycle activities from acquisition to disposition aligning with business objectives.
