Job summary

Riverbanks Zoo & Garden seeks a Project Manager to lead capital projects from planning to execution. You will coordinate with internal staff, contractors, architects, and engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget, aligned with the Zoo’s mission.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of PM experience, with a proactive, detail-oriented approach and strong communication skills to support guest-focused infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, project management or construction management preferred.
• Minimum of three years of professional project management experience.
• Experience in facility development within public-facing institutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects from planning through execution.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, monitor expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with codes such as AZA, OSHA, SCDHEC.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
