Job summary

The City of High Point is seeking a Civil Engineering project professional to lead capital improvement projects from scoping through construction and final acceptance. You will coordinate with engineers, architects, and city staff to prepare cost estimates, bid documents, and schedules while ensuring safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or closely related field.
• At least 3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages all project phases from scoping through construction to final acceptance.
• Manages multiple capital improvement projects simultaneously.
• Coordinates with engineers and architects during design phase.
• Prepares cost estimates and contract documents for infrastructure projects.
• Ensures OSHA and City safety standards are followed.
• Maintains project documentation for audits and funding sources.
