Job summary

Achievers USA in the Carolinas is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will manage a diverse portfolio including municipal, educational, streetscape, infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and recreational developments, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication with owners, architects, engineers and field teams, and proficiency with construction

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in construction.
  • Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relations.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, cost control, and contract administration.
  • Excellent communication with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and field personnel.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and cost controls.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and field personnel to ensure progress.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve issues affecting schedule, budget, quality, or safety.
  • Lead project meetings and communicate with owners, architects, engineers, municipalities and stakeholders.
  • Review and manage contracts, subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, project specs and safety requirements.
  • Track project financial performance and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Oversee project closeout activities, punch lists, and owner turnover.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of municipal, educational, streetscape, infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and recreational developments while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and cost controls.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and field personnel to ensure
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues affecting schedule, budget,
  • quality, or safety.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with owners, architects,
  • engineers, municipalities, and other stakeholders.
  • Review and manage contracts, subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, project specifications, and all safety
  • requirements.
  • Track project financial performance and provide regular updates to company leadership.
  • Support procurement activities and subcontractor management throughout the project
  • lifecycle.
  • Oversee project closeout activities, including punch lists, final documentation, and
  • owner turnover.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial, municipal, educational, civil, infrastructure, or general construction.
  • Proven experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and client relations.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
  • Excellent communication skills with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and field personnel.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites throughout North Carolina
  • and South Carolina.
  • Competitive salary based on experience $80,000-$115,000
