We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of municipal, educational, streetscape, infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and recreational developments while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and cost controls.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and field personnel to ensure
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues affecting schedule, budget,
- quality, or safety.
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with owners, architects,
- engineers, municipalities, and other stakeholders.
- Review and manage contracts, subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and
- Ensure compliance with company standards, project specifications, and all safety
- requirements.
- Track project financial performance and provide regular updates to company leadership.
- Support procurement activities and subcontractor management throughout the project
- lifecycle.
- Oversee project closeout activities, including punch lists, final documentation, and
- owner turnover.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial, municipal, educational, civil, infrastructure, or general construction.
- Proven experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and client relations.
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
- Excellent communication skills with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and field personnel.
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites throughout North Carolina
- and South Carolina.
- Competitive salary based on experience $80,000-$115,000
