Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority seeks a Manager of Capital Projects to lead assigned capital improvements and facility upgrades at the LVCC. You will oversee planning, design coordination, procurement, construction, and closeout while ensuring safety, budget, and schedule adherence.

You will manage project staff, collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal partners, and communicate status to leaders and stakeholders, maintaining project documentation and records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or HS diploma with related experience.
• -
• 5+ years managing building, renovation, or capital projects in large facilities.
• -
• 2+ years leading project staff, contractors, or cross-functional teams.
• -
• Knowledge of PM practices: scope, scheduling, cost, procurement, change management, and closeout.

• Ability to read drawings and interpret technical documents.
• -
• Familiarity with building codes, permitting, OSHA, and safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Lead capital projects from planning through completion, including scope development, design coordination, procurement support, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Supervise and develop project staff; coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors to meet requirements and quality standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and agencies; communicate status and maintain accurate project records and reports.
