Qualifications

• Expert project management skills to effectively manage highly complex projects or highly specialized and critical components of projects with a significant impact on the organization.
• Expert knowledge of design and construction, contract administration, and state building codes, including expert understanding of industry practices or highly specialized and critical disciplines.
• Advanced knowledge of the organization, infrastructure, policies, and long-range plans relevant to capital projects.
• Experience and knowledge to analyze, recommend, and execute procurement, contracting, and delivery strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all capital projects delivered by the subject team, including budgets and scheduling to ensure on-budget and on-time completion.
• Lead regular project update meetings with clients to communicate status and scope changes.
• Monitor project progress during construction to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Supervise lower-level professional staff and coordinate with multiple campus units.
• Provide expert technical guidance across building systems, code, and construction practices for major renovations and new facilities.
