Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking an Aggregates Project Manager to lead capital projects and short-term mine planning across South Texas operations. You will drive projects from concept through commissioning, collaborating with plant, quarry, maintenance, environmental and engineering teams to meet safety, quality, budget, and schedule objectives.

The role requires a technical bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of project management in aggregates or mining, and strong leadership and contractor management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Mining/Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Construction Management).
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in aggregates, mining, or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience leading capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Working knowledge of aggregate mining operations and short-term mine planning.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with safety, budget, and schedule in mind.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects and operational improvement initiatives from planning through execution with safety, quality, budget, and schedule in mind.
• Develop and manage short-term mine plans to support production targets and efficiency.
• Collaborate with plant, quarry, maintenance, environmental, and engineering teams to align priorities with operations.
• Develop project scopes, cost estimates, business cases, schedules, and resource plans for capital investments.
• Manage contractors, consultants, vendors, and suppliers to ensure successful execution and compliance.
