Job summary
Suzano is seeking a Project Engineer to support Pine Bluff, AR operations by leading capital project delivery from concept to startup. You will coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Environmental and Engineering teams to meet scope, schedule and budget targets while upholding safety standards.
The ideal candidate has a technical engineering background, strong project management skills and experience with capital projects in manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil or related engineering discipline.
- Experience managing engineering projects from concept through commissioning and startup.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, SAP or similar tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, execution and startup of capital/expense projects.
- Coordinate activities with stakeholders, contractors and vendors.
- Manage timelines, budgets and risk mitigation for projects.
- Ensure safety, environmental and quality standards compliance.
- Prepare updates and business cases for leadership.
