Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to plan, execute, and finalize capital projects at our Memphis site. You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and operations to meet scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a BS or MS in Engineering, 5+ years in engineering/project management, PE and/or PMP preferred, and strong skills in MS Project or Primavera.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering and project management experience.
• Professional Engineering and/or PMP registration preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage capital projects from concept to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, and operations.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and technical evaluations.
• Ensure safety, health, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage contractors and vendors to quality standards.
• Present proposals, progress reports, and final documentation.
