Job summary

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management or engineering within a chemical plant, strong communication, and knowledge of PM tools (MS Project, Primavera).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or engineering within a chemical plant or similar industrial environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools (MS Project, Primavera).
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and managing plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from concept to completion, ensuring scope, schedule and budget adherence.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, budgets, resources and risk management.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and operations to meet objectives.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimations, and technical evaluations for proposed projects.
• Prepare and present project proposals, progress reports and final documentation to stakeholders.
• Ensure safety, health, environmental, and regulatory compliance throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage contractors and vendors to ensure quality and compliance.
