Job summary

LSB Industries, Inc. is seeking a Category Manager – Capital to drive procurement for major capital projects. You will partner with Project Managers and Engineers to source equipment, materials, and services while balancing cost, quality, schedule, and risk.

The role can be performed onsite at Oklahoma City headquarters or remotely with 25% travel; requires end-to-end sourcing expertise, FEL process knowledge, and strong negotiation and analytics using ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5–10 years in procurement.
• At least 3+ years leading capital project procurement.
• Experience with capital equipment in chemical/industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end RFQ/RFP processes for capital projects.
• Negotiate terms and draft agreements with suppliers.
• Develop procurement plans aligned with FEL phase-gate process.
• Manage supplier performance and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers on schedules.
