Job summary

LSB Industries, Inc. seeks an experienced Category Manager – Capital to shape procurement strategies for high-impact capital projects.

You will own assigned categories, lead end-to-end RFQ/RFP processes, and negotiate terms with equipment suppliers to deliver value while protecting schedule and quality. This role can be performed on-site at the Oklahoma City headquarters or remotely with about 25% travel to facilities and suppliers, working with Project Managers and Engineers to align

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering).
• 5–10 years of procurement experience with 3+ years on capital projects.
• Experience with ERP procurement modules (JDE preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end RFQ/RFP processes for capital categories.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with equipment suppliers.
• Develop and monitor supplier performance metrics and risk controls.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to align procurement plans with project schedules.
