Job summary

LSB Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Category Manager - Services to drive end-to-end sourcing, supplier management, and process improvements for safe, continuous manufacturing operations.

You will own the contractor base lifecycle, MSAs, rate schedules, onboarding, performance, and cost recovery. The role partners with Maintenance, Reliability, Turnaround, Capital Projects, Engineering, EHS, and Site Operations to support operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years category management/strategic sourcing/procurement experience, with 3+ years sourcing and managing industrial contractors.
• Experience with turnaround or capital-project contractors, including T&M, unit-rate, and lump-sum structures; ERP procurement modules.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategy, sourcing, and contractor management for services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements for RFx events, MSAs, and rate schedules.
• Plan and execute sourcing initiatives with cross-functional teams for recurring and turnaround services.
• Lead negotiations for optimal terms, including labor rates, markups, overtime, per diem, and pricing structures.
• Draft and execute MSAs, Statements of Work, and addenda to mitigate risk.
• Manage contractor setup in CMS and maintain the Approved Contractor List (ACL).
• Monitor contractor performance on safety, quality, schedule, and cost; drive corrective actions.
