Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on a capital project from the owner's or EPC's side. You will write the project quality plan and set surveillance of contractors and suppliers, qualifying vendors and inspection subcontractors, and reporting quality performance to the project manager and owner’s quality organization.

You will manage nonconformance, corrective actions, and lessons learned, and ensure records will stand up at turnover.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
• Ability to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute and enforce.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies; review contractor QC plans and inspector qualifications.
• Own nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes; report metrics and risks to project leadership.
