Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Capital Planning Analyst III to join our team in Cincinnati. The role focuses on financial analysis, capital planning processes, CCAR, and enterprise stress testing to support risk and business decisions.

You will drive process improvements and ensure strong control environments across lines of business. Ideal candidates have a strong finance background, GAAP knowledge, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP strongly desired.
• Typically five years of accounting or finance experience.
• Breadth of knowledge across Bancorp lines of business.
• Proficient with MS-Windows and related PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Understand key business factors affecting capital planning processes and keep current on industry issues.
• Collect, aggregate and analyze forecasted financials and supporting documents.
• Document financial plans for senior management meetings and improve reporting design.
• Prepare and analyze reports for lines of business and affiliates.
• Develop trend analyses and quantitative reports to determine business trends.
• Establish relationships with Finance, Risk and LOB personnel for capital planning.
• Coordinate CCAR central process teams to improve control environment.
• Participate in complex process improvements for capital planning.
• Guide stress test participants in updating control documentation.
• Verify compliance with risk management framework within Capital Planning.
