Luxoft is looking for a Business / Financial Analyst(s) to work with our client, one of the world's largest investment management companies. Based in Southern California, our client manages nearly $2 trillion in assets and is upgrading their technology with Luxoft. We seek talented and ambitious individuals for an initial engagement at the client's offices near Los Angeles, California, with opportunities for expansion into other areas of their business.

The Business Analyst will be involved in a complex integration project for the client's Fixed Income investment group. A current focus is developing an adapter for real-time integration of BlackRock's Aladdin with CRD Compliance and other downstream systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Discuss, understand, and document project stakeholder business requirements to guide software and process development.
2. Collaborate with the development team to design solutions and present them to stakeholders/users.
3. Ensure business requirements are met during development and maintain up-to-date documentation.
4. Manage requirement changes proactively, ensuring all parties understand the implications.
5. Test developed software and processes to confirm they meet business needs and specifications.

Mandatory Skills:

• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, etc.)
• Creation of physical and logical data models
• Understanding of integration patterns (REST API, ETL, Topics, etc.)
• Knowledge of JSON and XML formats
• Familiarity with UML
• Experience in the Fixed Income domain
• Advanced spoken and written English skills
• Strong communication skills and confidence in stakeholder interactions
