Cooley LLP, a leading international law firm, seeks an associate with 3–7 years in capital markets and public securities to join its corporate practice in Los Angeles.

You will represent issuers and underwriters in IPOs and other equity offerings, advise on governance and SEC reporting, and manage complex client relationships across technology, life sciences, and consumer sectors. A top law degree is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of capital markets/public securities experience preferred.
• Represent issuers and underwriters in public offerings and related transactions.
• Advise on governance, SEC reporting and compliance for public companies.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships and project workflows for sophisticated clients.

Responsabilités

• Represent companies and/or underwriters in public securities offerings, including IPOs and other equity or equity‑linked transactions.
• Represent public companies in governance and SEC reporting and compliance.
• Manage client relationships and day-to-day workflow for sophisticated clients.
• Have worked in the capital markets department of a national or international law firm.
• Have a high level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.
