Job summary

Cooley LLP has an opportunity in its internationally recognized corporate practice; associates with two to seven years of capital markets and public securities experience are encouraged to apply.

Ideal candidates will have represented companies and/or underwriters in public offerings, including IPOs, with a focus on tech, consumer/retail, and life sciences sectors, and will have worked in a national or international law firm’s capital markets department.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of capital markets and public securities experience
• Experience representing companies and/or underwriters in public securities offerings (IPOs and equity-linked transactions)
• Experience representing public companies in governance and SEC/exchange reporting/compliance
• Ability to manage client relationships and day-to-day workflow for sophisticated clients

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in capital markets transactions and regulatory matters
• Advise on governance, reporting and compliance for public companies
• Manage client relationships and day-to-day matters for multiple clients with sophisticated needs

Skills
