City National Bank is seeking a Capital Markets Business Data Analytics Manager to oversee analytics projects, drive data-driven insights, and develop reporting strategies across Capital Markets and the enterprise.

The role requires senior-level data analysis, leadership, and collaboration with stakeholders to translate business needs into complex data analyses and dashboards that improve performance and risk oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years' experience in financial services / banking.
• 8+ years' experience in data analysis with SQL, visualization and ETL tools.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• 5+ years in Capital Markets or Corporate Banking.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Associates and Analysts on the Capital Markets Data team.
• Serve as the primary contact for data, analytics and reporting initiatives.
• Collaborate with TI, Legal, Product Management to implement forms and services.
• Drive automation of data mining, reporting tasks and ad hoc requests.
• Develop executive level reporting showing trends and opportunities.
• Run queries against databases and assist with periodic/ad hoc reports.
• Analyze performance against forecasts and KPIs; improve reporting accuracy.
• Evaluate and consolidate duplicative or non-value reporting.
