Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Data Analysis Manager to lead analytics initiatives across business units in a fast-paced environment. You will guide modeling, data testing, and production data systems while mentoring junior analysts and driving end-to-end project delivery.

The role emphasizes BI, AWS and Tableau usage, large-scale data handling, and strategic testing of products and marketing initiatives across locations in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field plus at least 6 years of data analytics experience, or Master’s Degree plus at least 4 years of analytics experience
• At least 4 years of experience performing professional data analysis work
• At least 4 years of experience performing programming
• At least 7 years of professional data analysis work (Preferred)
• At least 2 years of people management (Preferred)
• At least 1 year with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation (IaC)
• At least 1 year of project management experience (Preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience in Tableau (Preferred)
• Proficient utilizing and developing within AWS services (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Mine data to extract crucial information for the organization
• Identify and implement data/process/report improvements
• Work with large, complex databases containing millions to billions of records
• Improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness
• Develop strategic tests of products, initiatives and marketing materials
• Lead a team of junior analysts and mentor their careers
• Collaborate across business units and capstone projects
