Job summary

Cerberus Capital Management LP is seeking an Associate to join the Asset-Backed Finance platform in a Capital Formation support role. The position will help build investor materials and go-to-market narratives for fundraising.

You will work with investment professionals and internal partners to gather information, produce polished materials, and respond to diligence requests for prospective limited partners.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in sales operations, investor relations, or related fields in alternatives.
• Experience with capital formation support, RFP/DDQ writing, or investor reporting.
• Strong writing and ability to synthesize investment information clearly.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel; CRM/content tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create fundraising materials: pitch books, portfolio updates, and platform overviews.
• Coordinate responses to diligence requests and RFPs/DDQs.
• Collaborate with investment teams, capital formation, investor relations, legal, and finance.
• Develop understanding of Asset-Backed Finance strategies and fundraising priorities.
• Support content and analytics for Fund II investor communications.
• Lay groundwork for a longer-term path into fundraising or client-facing roles.
