NIRON Magnetics, headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, seeks a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager for global sourcing of capital equipment and manufacturing materials. You will build a resilient supplier base, partner with Engineering and Operations, and lead strategic negotiations to support growth and scale.

You will develop deep market knowledge in grinding, pressing, coating, and related technologies, drive cost reduction, and implement scalable sourcing processes across geographies.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience sourcing capital equipment.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate supplier proposals, cost drivers, and market trends.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to develop should-cost models.

Aufgaben

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for capital equipment.
• Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers; ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead RFQ processes and supplier selection; negotiate master agreements.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to align procurement with roadmaps.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems.
• Maintain procurement data for reporting, planning, and audits.
