GSK in the United States is seeking a seasoned procurement and contracting professional to lead engineering and construction procurement strategies for a flagship capital project in Marietta, PA. You will partner with engineering, project teams and suppliers to secure value, manage risk, and align contracting with project objectives.

This role requires strategic thinking, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a complex, matrix environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Lead procurement and contracting strategies for engineering and construction services, with a primary focus on the strategic capital project in Marietta, PA.
• Support procurement strategies for other capital construction projects across the U.S. as required.
• Develop and implement sourcing and contracting strategies aligned with project objectives, ensuring delivery against schedule, budget, quality, and risk requirements.
• Partner closely with engineering, project leadership, and other key stakeholders to ensure procurement is integrated into project planning and execution.
• Lead complex sourcing activities and commercial negotiations to secure competitive terms, manage contractual and supply-chain risks, and deliver value.
• Establish strong supplier relationships and drive effective contract and supplier performance management throughout project execution.
• Oversee contract compliance and proactively address commercial, contractual, and supplier performance issues.
• Drive continuous improvement through market benchmarking, supplier optimization, and increased use of preferred suppliers and fit-for-purpose contracting approaches.
