Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Corporate Real Estate CAPEX Project Manager to plan, direct, and manage capital projects that support safe, reliable, and efficient operations in the power sector. You will oversee lifecycle activities from initiation to closeout, focusing on scope, schedule, budget, and compliance.

Work involves collaboration with internal units, architects, engineers, and external partners, driving cost control, risk mitigation, and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in capital construction or corporate real estate projects.
• US work authorization required.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• Experience budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 30%

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage CAPEX projects from initiation through closeout.
• Define goals, technical requirements, and construction strategies.
• Set up projects in internal systems and track costs, forecasts, variances.
• Oversee contracts and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Monitor progress and contractor performance for on‑time delivery.
• Prepare status reports and coordinate governance reviews.
