Job summary

Responsibilities include planning, commissioning, handover, and post‑start performance verification, with up to 15% travel and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree: Chemical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer as stated in the posting.
• 5‑10 or more years’ experience in manufacturing plants in engineering, maintenance, or processes.
• 5+ or more years’ experience in project management.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing industry (food manufacturing preferred).
• Knowledge of capital accounting and budgeting.
• Strong CAD skills.
• Strong Windows skills (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Good oral and written communication, team spirit, dynamic, autonomous.

Responsibilities

• Define the business need, project objectives, scope boundaries, and success criteria for assigned CapEx projects.
• Lead feasibility studies and option evaluations to recommend the preferred technical solution.
• Develop, review and maintain technical requirements and specifications and assessments of utility/process/control impacts.
• Identify long‑lead items and interfaces with Operations to protect delivery timelines.
• Develop and manage project plans, including schedule, milestones and stakeholder alignment.
• Coordinate and supervise installation and construction activities, ensuring site readiness and logistics.
• Plan and execute FAT/SAT activities, commissioning, start‑up and performance verification.
• Deliver complete project handover with as‑built docs, manuals, certificates, and warranties.
• Verify post‑start performance and that delivered solution meets scope and acceptance criteria.
• Close out projects with documentation archiving and lessons learned.
