Job summary

MJ Recruiters, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer - CapEx in Tiffin, Ohio to join an established OEM project team. You will manage capital equipment projects, liaise with customers, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of CapEx project experience, a high school diploma or higher, and proficiency with blueprints and Microsoft Office. The role offers a balanced schedule, competitive benefits, and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma minimum; additional post education preferred.
• Ideally 3–5 years in a similar project engineering position.
• Experience managing CapEx projects in manufacturing or OEM environments.
• Experience overseeing project timelines and budgets.
• Ability to read blueprints/part drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage up to 20 projects concurrently at various stages.
• Act as liaison between production and customers on project status.
• Oversee budgets, timelines, and project scopes.
• Forecast projects and document changes.
• Ensure inspection and verification of equipment meets customer scope.
• Negotiate change orders and terms with customers and operations.
• Maintain project documentation and attend meetings with sales and engineering.
• Oversee equipment installs and assist with final inspections.
• Represent the company professionally to build client relationships.
