Job summary

Integrated Project Management Company (IPM) seeks a Project Engineer with CAPEX experience in manufacturing to lead capital initiatives from scoping to startup, embedding Lean and OpEx principles into delivery.

You will collaborate with Quality, Validation, and Regulatory teams in GMP environments, manage vendor relationships, and guide client project managers while building capital playbooks and organizational readiness for new assets and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience delivering capital projects in consulting or matrixed environments.
• Strong foundation in capital project management and operational excellence methodologies.
• Experience across Life Sciences, Consumer, and/or Industrial sectors.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders as the owner’s representative.
• PM certifications (PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, PE, APICS) are a plus.
• Familiarity with GMP, FDA, OSHA, ISO, and environmental requirements.
• Willingness to travel based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful delivery outcomes across end-to-end or phase-driven projects.
• Manage projects within scope, schedule, and budget per IPM standards.
• Advise clients on delivery, translate strategy into capital roadmaps, manage vendor relationships.
• Lead or support FEL, scope definition, and design readiness across execution and startup.
• Embed Lean, OpEx, and Continuous Improvement into capital planning and execution.
• Coordinate with Quality, Validation, and Regulatory teams in GMP environments.
• Integrate capital projects into site OpEx and quality maturity models.
• Support growth, automation, sustainability, and productivity investments.
• Develop playbooks, templates, and readiness for new assets and processes.
• Present executive and detailed updates throughout engagements.
