Job summary

IPM is seeking a Project Engineer with CAPEX experience in manufacturing to lead capital projects, drive OpEx improvements, and ensure safe, compliant delivery. You will translate client strategies into executable roadmaps, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and collaborate with Quality, Validation, and Regulatory teams.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar, at least six years delivering capital projects in consulting or matrixed environments, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Project Management or similar
• 6+ years delivering capital projects in consulting or matrixed environments with CAPEX experience
• Strong foundation in capital project mgmt best practices and operational excellence methodologies
• Experience across Life Sciences, Consumer, and/or Industrial sectors
• Familiarity with GMP, FDA, OSHA, ISO and environmental requirements

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful delivery outcomes across end-to-end or phase-driven projects within scope, schedule and budget
• Manage projects to IPM standards and mentor client teams
• Translate business strategy into executable capital roadmaps and facilitate steering committees
• Lead Front-End Planning, scope definition, design readiness, and realization across execution
• Embed Lean, OpEx and Continuous Improvement into capital planning and execution
• Collaborate with Quality, Validation and Regulatory teams for compliant, right‑first‑time delivery
• Integrate capital projects into site OpEx and quality maturity models
• Support growth, automation, sustainability and productivity investments
• Identify execution risks and lead mitigation planning
• Coach client project managers, engineers and operators; develop capital playbooks and delivery frameworks
• Present executive and detailed updates during engagements and final readouts
