Job summary

The Coca-Cola Company in Puerto Rico seeks an Engineer Manager to lead non-strategic CAPEX projects for CPS Puerto Rico, ensuring safe, on-time delivery within scope and budget. You will coordinate internal stakeholders, contractors, and service providers to support accurate capital reporting and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Food Engineering or related field is required.
• 7+ years of experience in the position or similar as: Management of multi-disciplinary technical / engineering teams.
• Major Capital Projects (specification, design, installation, commissioning, cost control, purchasing, contract, planning, risk analysis & avoidance).

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of CPS Puerto Rico non-strategic CAPEX projects from concept refinement through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, closeout, and asset capitalization.
• Develop and maintain project scopes, schedules, budgets, milestones, deliverables, resource plans, permitting requirements, and execution plans to ensure approved project objectives are met.
• Support the site CAPEX justification and annual capital planning process by consolidating needs, organizing reviews, preparing estimates, and aligning priorities with management direction and approved business plans.
• Manage annual CAPEX spend against the business plan, including forecasting, carryover reporting, monthly/quarterly/year-end financial updates, risk identification, and mitigation actions.
