Job summary

HR Works is seeking a Project Manager in Puerto Rico to lead CAPEX projects within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will oversee electrical, mechanical, and construction activities, coordinate procurement, and drive projects from initiation to completion.

The role requires 5–10 years of CAPEX experience (2–3 years acceptable) and a proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing CAPEX projects in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and construction disciplines.
• Experience with equipment procurement and vendor management.
• Experience supporting packaging projects in manufacturing settings.
• 5–10 years preferred; candidates with 2–3 years of directly relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead CAPEX projects from initiation through completion.
• Manage multidisciplinary projects involving electrical, mechanical, and construction activities.
• Oversee equipment procurement, installation, and project execution.
• Coordinate project schedules, budgets, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
