Job summary

Amrize is seeking a CAPEX Category Manager to define and align strategic sourcing for sub commodities across North America. You will become the subject matter expert for assigned categories and lead cross-functional teams through RFI/RFP processes, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.

The role requires strong strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and the ability to drive value with senior stakeholders. Travel about 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Field of Study: Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Economics or Engineering.
• Required Work Experience: Consultant, project management or sourcing experience in large capital expenditure activities.
• Required Technical Skills: Proficient/Advance in MS Office (Excel and PPT), Google Mail & Drive; basic SAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Define and align the overall strategy for sub commodities within scope.
• Become the subject matter expert for related sub commodities or suppliers.
• Lead and execute sourcing processes within Amrize’s Capital projects.
• Develop and implement category strategies in support of Global and Regional Procurement.
