The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, NJ RN license, and experience in capacity management or care coordination. You will work with nursing leadership, physicians, and operations to optimize bed availability and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and techniques.
• Knowledge of state and agency laws governing professional nursing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to apply professional nursing methods and techniques.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate placement of elective and emergent admissions and transfers per clinical standards.
• Communicate capacity management plan to staff and leadership daily.
• Track bed availability and maintain logs and records.
• Collaborate with Plant Ops and Environmental Services on room of the day.
• Provide status reports on capacity needs and divert decisions to leadership.
• Assist with transfer/discharge processes to ensure timely patient flow.
