You will evaluate supplier readiness, validate performance, and close gaps to support complex hardware programs.

This remote US-based role focuses on leadership in technical reviews, qualification planning, and ensuring supplier compliance with engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in a STEM field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in mechanical or systems engineering and hardware development.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proven track record leading technical projects across teams.
• Experience working with suppliers on technical oversight and integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in RCCA and DFMA.
• Effective communication and documentation skills for technical audiences.

For our client, we are seeking a Capacity Growth Office (CGO) Supplier Technical Qualification Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will drive supplier technical qualification efforts in close partnership with Supply Chain and Engineering teams, ensuring suppliers are prepared to meet demanding technical and manufacturing requirements. The position will focus on evaluating supplier readiness, validating performance, and closing technical gaps to support reliable execution across complex hardware programs. You will also lead technical reviews, coordinate qualification timelines, and help ensure supplier compliance with engineering standards and specifications.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $132,400 – $251,600 annually
