Job summary

Eaton’s Assemblies & Residential Solutions (ARS) seeks a Program Manager II – Capacity Expansion to lead large-scale manufacturing transformations that expand capacity for power distribution assemblies. Relocation is available within 50 miles of NC/SC; up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management methodologies, processes, and tools
• Minimum 3 years of experience involving construction, modification, transition, and startup of industrial facilities
• PMI PMP certification or ability to obtain within one year of hire
• No immigration sponsorship or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT sponsorship allowed.

Responsibilities

• Lead Zero Incident Safety Culture for construction, installation, and startup, meeting EHS/OSHA/permit/code requirements
• Utilize program tools and PROLaunch stage gate process
• Lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity with clear structure and objectives
• Responsible for program scope and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost, and quality commitments
• Maintain business cases and comply with CAR and asset capitalization processes
• Control spending, forecast accurately, monitor contingency utilization
• Communicate changes and impacts to stakeholders
• Create and maintain detailed schedules using Microsoft Project
• Mitigate project risks with construction/startup/operations expertise
• Ensure transition to operational readiness including equipment delivery, FAT/SAT, workforce readiness, startup, ramp
• Manage equipment/inventory moves, cutover sequencing, supply continuity, asset disposition
• Deliver executive reviews with status, risks, schedules, and financials
• Foster accountability and collaboration across locations and partners
• Prepare RFPs, review contractor quotes, support major contracts negotiations
• Oversee architects/engineers/GCs/partners on project execution
• Drive proactive decision making and trade-offs between existing vs new methods
• Drive continuous improvement and participate in PMO community
