Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division in Greenwood, SC seeks a Value Stream Manager – Capacitors to lead the Capacitor value stream across three shifts. You will manage production associates, drive Lean improvements, and coordinate with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Marketing to maximize throughput and quality.

Relocation is offered, and candidates within 50 miles of Greenwood will be prioritized. A Bachelor's degree and manufacturing/ops leadership experience are required, with Lean/Six Sigma preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing/operations experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of management/supervisory experience in manufacturing or operations.
• Relocation benefits offered; within 50 miles of Greenwood, SC preferred.
• Sponsorship not available for CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or other work visas.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for 200+ shop floor employees, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency.
• Serve as backup for the Operations Manager, making key decisions across value streams.
• Develop Current and Future State Maps using Lean principles to eliminate waste and optimize flow.
• Drive continuous improvement through process changes and technology upgrades.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering and Marketing to meet productivity and scheduling goals.
• Align demand forecasts with capacity plans to ensure optimal schedule execution.
• Analyze operational data and metrics to identify improvement opportunities and execute action plans.
• Present performance results and improvement strategies in leadership forums and reviews.
• Develop staffing strategies and foster a high-performance culture.
