Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division in Greenwood, SC, is seeking a Group Lead Capacitor Assembler on the 1st shift to guide a production team and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role is hands-on with assembly, wiring, and modification work, and requires SAP proficiency.

You will plan manufacturing, train staff, manage schedules, lead daily meetings, and uphold 5S+. Coordinate with QA and supervisors to keep production flowing and to respond to changes or shortages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience with complex assembly, wiring, fitting and modification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Minimum 1 year of experience reading wiring schematics/diagrams and blueprints.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn/use SAP.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the manufacturing of orders to schedule.
• Provide training and production guidance to employees.
• Establish schedules and review standard work at each workstation.
• Lead daily Tier 1 meetings and maintain visual boards.
• Promote 5S+ and continuous improvement in Safety, Quality and Lean.
• Collaborate with Operators, Production Supervisor and Plant Staff to optimize workflow.
• Assist Operations in responding to unusual situations and material shortages.
