Job summary

Key responsibilities include Lean Business Case development, end-to-end capability delivery, requirements elicitation, and operational readiness through training and process mapping. You’ll partner with stakeholders to ensure funding alignment, manage dependencies, and communicate across cross-functional teams in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product development, technical delivery, or process improvement.
• Experience working in healthcare and/or health insurance environments.
• Strong experience in cross-functional and matrixed organizations.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language and vice versa.
• Experience with process mapping and documentation.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Strong collaboration and consultative communication approaches.

Pay rate: $40-$50/hour

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Capability Manager to support the development and delivery of strategic capabilities within a supplemental benefits environment. This role is a hybrid of product, business, and driving initiatives from business case through implementation and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Support development of Lean Business Cases (LBC), including value definition, cost estimates, and funding alignment
• Support end-to-end capability delivery lifecycle from planning through execution and deployment
• Partner with business, technology, and architecture teams to define current and future state solutions
• Elicit and document business and technical requirements
• Manage stakeholder engagement, expectations, and communication across cross-functional teams
