Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Capability Lead for High Integrity Software in the United States. You will shape capability growth strategies, align globally, and manage performance for engineers across engine control development programs.

You will collaborate with leaders responsible for systems and software on development and certification plans. You will help plan specialist reviews, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with aerospace standards such as DO-178/ARP 4754 while delivering

Qualifications

U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance.
Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years software or systems experience or a Master’s with 3+ years, or a PhD in STEM.

Responsibilities

Estimate software engineering effort for projects with development teams and customers.
Manage performance and career development for controls software engineers.
Mentor engineers to improve technical capability and project results.
Review and approve critical engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with certification standards.
Drive updates to development processes while ensuring efficient implementation.
Perform specialist-level tasks to develop and certify control systems.
