Job summary

FIS seeks a Capability Experience Designer for Engineering & Infrastructure to shape how engineers work and grow, designing experiences, tools, and enablement systems that help adopt Agentic AI and cloud-native practices. You will influence the engineer's daily workflow from IDE to runbooks and pipelines.

Collaborate with leadership and platform teams to map journeys, build scalable assets, and deliver in-flow guidance that reduces cognitive load while elevating performance and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in UX Design, Human-Centered Design Thinking, Learning Experience Design, Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience designing enablement, learning, or behavior-change solutions within engineering, technology, or infrastructure organizations.
• Strong UX fundamentals: journey mapping, workflow analysis, service design, interaction design, and prototype-and-test methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design the end-to-end engineer experience for adopting Agentic AI tools—from awareness to productive use in daily delivery.
• Map the Engineering Service Delivery lifecycle and identify moments where enablement and guidance have the highest impact.
• Create workflow-embedded enablement for onboarding to AI Gateway, Agent Runtime, and cloud-native patterns.
