Job summary

Precision Castparts in Mentor, OH is seeking a Clean & Cap Operator on the 4th shift (6:30am–6:30pm). The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent experience, and at least 1 year of stable manufacturing experience, preferably in chemical process or ceramic industries.

You will handle hazardous waste per MSDS and perform all clean & cap tasks; duties include mold prep, dewax, and more. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; may be substituted by experience.
• Minimum 1 year of stable manufacturing experience, preferably in chemical process or ceramic industry.
• Experience with misc. hand tools, tables, racks, boxes, safety guidelines, feeds, grinders, inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Handle hazardous waste in accordance with MSDS and company policy.
• Perform all clean & cap operations and related tasks (mega dip, mold prep, dewax, flashfire, expediting).
• Meet efficiency standards as established by Engineering.
• Record daily work with proper operational codes.
• Keep areas and equipment clean and safe per safety rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
