Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, may be substituted by experience.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous casting experience is a plus.
• Able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity.
• Able to work flexible hours with a history of dependability as demonstrated with strong attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Etches castings, dips castings into caustic baths, and assists in cleaning caustic units under supervision.
• Operate hoists to immerse/retrieve castings and manage bath temperatures/time cycles according to procedures.
• Rinse castings with air pressure and water; manage caustic baths and caustic soda handling.
• Verify parts against paperwork and perform additional department duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety practices.
