Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a Learning Management System Implementation Specialist (0.6 FTE) to support the implementation of Canvas LMS in Needham Public Schools. This part-time role will involve consulting on technical configurations and providing training to staff.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, excellent communication skills, and technical experience with Canvas. The contract extends from August 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Demonstrated Canvas certification preferred.
• In‑depth knowledge of the Canvas LMS Platform, including configuration and management.
• Proven technical knowledge in LMS administration and implementation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a consultant for the Canvas LMS implementation and deployment.
• Act as the primary technical liaison for Canvas LMS.
• Provide training and coaching for Technology Integration Specialists.
• Resolve technical help desk tickets related to Canvas.
